Walking Bessie tonight I got mask-shamed by a woman and adolescent daughter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drinking a bottle of Power Ade, Citrus Peach Zero, from the local Chevron cooler. I had a surgical mask around my chin. I was maybe 25-feet away from this woman and we got into a bit of a stare with each other. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It’s for over your nose, just so you know,” she says. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her daughter may have noticed and said something prior. I was wearing a Visitors Badge from UCLA Reagan Westwood, that I guess didn’t generate any sympathy, but instead perhaps derision. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I recently told my internist that my understanding was you didn’t need a mask if you were walking outside by yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She responded “I am recommending double-masking.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This suggests more caution than Dr. Anthony Cardillo, on local ABC news. “If you are jogging on the beach alone, you don’t need a mask,” he said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After listening to this Hunter B. autobiography, I am convinced everyone in Los Angeles is sketched-out. Not my doctor though she is on the straight and narrow. Although I probably don’t need to be told I need a G.I. work-up another time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
