Am spending hours smiling strangers and shoving Subway sandwiches in this amounts between interviews. We needed to have a little more pop. You need to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s a phrase as you wash it. The first step is to take some control of our schedule. There wasn&#8217;t much, we could change, but we could move the aftershell bus call by switching to time. We had to be on the bus from midnight at 4am. We could stay in the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After our work was done, we try to stay in a little action. The only problem was was becoming a Rockstar down. We&#8217;re a more late night comic shows, more early morning, radio shows, more everything. We had journalists asking to travel with us. Hoping to go behind the scenes with the band and see our rapid fire rise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Firsthand We did it all. We never questioned it because when your dreams are coming true, all the work is fun. This is what it took for us to be the Mac and more importantly to stay the back. Not everything at that time. Was fun though. With all the new attention, there were a lot of Vibes on us and not all of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like, what they saw, there&#8217;s a lot of critique in my appearance, people would knock my hive and my looks, and it felt like almost every article about the band. Made sure to comment, huh? With a big nose, which still happens to this day. I even got nominated for the dubious honor of the ugliest people in rock award from Quran magazine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Obviously it hurt but I also kind of like the fact that I had beaten the system. I was successful despite being too short, too unattractive and begged, a horrible unlockingable name of Derek whibley, I started to take a dark pride in it getting in, on the joke and telling people that it was all true.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And that, that was why I went into music and not male model. The constant critique took a toll, though. To prove, I was where I was supposed to be. The more famous, I got, the more difficult it was for me to blend into a crowd, or grab a drink in a bar, while the other guy&#8217;s got left alone or even had people offer to buy them drinks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was getting fucked with wherever we went. Sucks 41 is here. They would intentionally bump into me throw ice or drinks at me or just try to scare me down from across the room. It was clear. The only reason these idiot men were trying to fuck with me was because wherever we went girls wouldn&#8217;t pay attention to us and not them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After two back-to-back incidents where I walked into a bar and got punched in the back of the head. While I was ordering a drink. I stopped going out to bars all together. So where do you go when you can&#8217;t go to a bar but want to have some wild goose soaked fun a strip club, of course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;re always welcome with open arms at strip clubs. It became a routine. We&#8217;d finish a show hop on the tour bus drive over to the closest gentleman&#8217;s establishment and head inside to get to know all the dancers. Clothes, we&#8217;d invite the girls onto the bus, turning it into our own private dance club to burn away the last few hours of the night strip clubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apparently talk to each other because soon, wherever we were touring clubs started reaching out. We put the girls on the guest list and they would bring us back to their clubs. So, she like strip clubs. Of course, Vinnie, Paul the late drummer from Pantera had opened his own adult entertainment spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The clubhouse in Dallas We made sure to stop by every time we were touring through. It was a mutual fandom that evolved into friendship. We had Golden Platinum record plaques, made out to Vinnie, Paul in the clubhouse and they hung them on the walls at the bar. Understand that with dancers though late one night in our early days of touring we were in our hotel with a few dancers and some guys from a local radio station when a stripper OD in front of us, No idea what she&#8217;d taken, but we knew something was very wrong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When she started compulsing and foaming at the mouth, we were still only 19 and 20 and had no idea what to do. We knew we had to call someone and get her some help, but we didn&#8217;t want to get in trouble either. We decided to wield the convulsant girl, down the hall, to the elevator in a hotel desk chair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elector in the care of the front desk clerk paramedic scheme in Cumberland.
