JER-CHAN\ART STATION

We laugh about what the Los Angeles Times says about us. Mainly that an aggressive sort/cancellation is needed to avert hoarding status.

CHALK IT UP TO ‘CHAKA’

From an ABC7 profile about an insanely prolific “tagger.” One who plastered greater Los Angeles with the “Land of the Lost” inspired name “CHAKA.”

Land of the Lost” billed as a “children’s show,” in the news piece. However, I still palpably remember having show-related nightmares. Usually, where I was cornered in a cave, by a monster or dinosaur.

I am sure I saw the graffiti many times around town, but had never made the source connection to “Land of the Lost.”

The Chaka physicality being similar to television’s “Alf” or “Star Wars” motion picture stalwart, Chewbacca.

“PLEASE DON’T GO CRAZY”, “SO SWEETHEART TELL ME WHAT’S-UP?”

The songs on this S.P. album less developed than Counting C.. But still effective for it’s time as ballad-like. The first couple of songs on ‘Final Straw’ I think are good. But it’s no wonder we have this “Incel” issue because “emo” and “indie light” songs flooded sensibilities for guys.

We have a “no game” crisis. The girls all say, “Oh my God,” or sympathetically, “That’s hard.”

Apologies to J. in Pac. (Sic), I imagine the earnestness of this lyric delivery on the first song, he would find especially maddening and nauseating.
