Back when she she just you know, wow, you know, you know why Richard Gere’s in love with her? And you’ve got that too? Seriously, I’m not saying it because you’re here, I mean, it’s obvious. They they pick you for all these movies. Oh, that’s a very big compliment because pretty women was like that.
Was it for me? Growing up? I was just obsessed with her that bit with the necklace and then she has that incredible laugh and she’s got just the laugh of the free. She’s just so fantastic. How many times have you watched Pretty Woman? You think in your life? No, no bullshit.
I’d say 67 times for sure like no Noble shit. Do you ever go on like the internet and just Google scenes from pretty woman and watch certain key scenes over and over again? That’s what I do. I mean I might like on the way home I mean, I mean, that’s what I do.
It’s weird. It relaxes me, it makes me happy, you know, pretty woman specifically or Julia Roberts Pretty Woman specifically. There’s something about that. Movie, that just blows me away. Every scene is perfect. Do you have favorite scenes? When she goes shopping and they blow her off cuz she’s not dressed.
Well, And then she comes back with Richard Gere and they go on shopping spree and he sits there it’s like he’s Superman, it’s so fucking awesome and then she does the big mistake big huge that bitch. Yeah. With the bags and she shrugs huge. Oh it’s perfect. In order to be perfect, you got to be loose as a goose, right?
Those those scenes only work when you forget, you have to forget the cameras on you. That’s yeah. Loosey-goosey Lucy, go see for that stuff because that also, To, to be as captivating as she was. She was like, She was so free in it as free spirited. Like, you know, that’s what I mean when she lets out that love.
It’s like Nothing’s measured or sort of contorted, it was, so she was just incredible in the movie. You know, how musicians will sometimes, you know, say before I go out on stage, I watch certain other musicians, they’re my inspiration. When you’re when like, you’re when you get cast in a movie, you’re sitting in your trailer and, you know, you got to go out and do a scene.
Would you ever do that? Would you ever go back and watch? Somebody not yourself, but watch some other actress in a movie and say, If I watch Julia Roberts in pretty woman, or something like that, or an Aaron Brockovich, Yeah, now I’m in the zone. It puts me in his own.
Is that a technique maybe? It’s funny because I feel, I feel most of the time you could be quite, you know, I tried to walk through life being quite sponge-like and it could be an Essence that of you, that I will think about. When I play someone, it could be.
It could be Robin. It could be anyone. You someone could do one thing and I’ll be like, oh, that’s interesting. And it’ll just be a way in to somebody sometimes. It’s, it’s a performance, sometimes, it’s an actress.
