Jd to tell me when the Knicks are on TV, because it takes up my whole night. And I end up staying up way too late. But I was excited about this game because it was starting at seven o’clock. JD assured. Me, it would be over no later than 9 30 and I said, okay, wow, JD has an inside It should have been over before 9:30, but it went into overtime.
It is such a crazy. I almost had a nervous breakdown with this game. Last night, I am a Knicks fan, but You’re watching the game. The Knicks are up three to one in the series they needed to win last night to put these Philadelphia 76ers away. Uh, Philly has such a good team too, and, but, but the Knicks have been playing really well.
Anyway. I’m watching this game. It’s about 9 15 and I’m like, son of a gun. The Knicks are going to win this is it. I’m so glad I watched this game. 30 seconds left to score is like, The Knicks. Uh, again, I might be a little off, you know.
I don’t pay that close attention, but it was like 96.90 in the Knicks. Favorites favor, it’s 30 seconds left. So you go. Yeah. The Knicks are gonna win and I couldn’t wait to watch the win in the celebration. Because you see who’s like there’s a whole bunch of celebrities that Mcenroe.
Was there Mcenrose standing up, he’s wearing the Knicks uniform with his name Mcenroe on it and you know and uh you see a lot of the old-timers who played for the next Patrick. Ewing was there a whole bunch of the great players from the past. Oh wow. Yeah. And you know and uh Tracy Morgan was there giving the finger to the 70s that that dude?

So I recorded in case I have to pressure something, I can pause it and I can watch the game. So, I’m watching it down to the last 30 seconds. This is it all of a sudden my TiVo freezes and says. Um, you’re done recording. It must have been set for two, you know, like it didn’t happen.
Oh yeah. And I’m like, no Beth’s sleeping, I’m like, no, no, she goes, what’s wrong, what’s wrong? I go just go back to bed, I’m freaking out, it’s 30 seconds left, the Knicks are about to win. I’m gonna miss it. I’m gonna miss it. Oh, I didn’t know how to get out of the TiVo world and into the regular television.
I’m and no, I, I can’t even describe the scene in my bedroom. I’m like, no, no, no, no. And then I’m looking at the remote. I can’t. I’m like, how? I don’t, it’s on TNT. Where is TNT? I don’t know TM fucking T. No, why isn’t it on CBS or NBC?
Maybe it’s this stupid Knicks game is on TNT. I don’t know where that is. On my cable system turns out, it’s channel. 407, I’m hitting the fucking buttons on the TV. 407 407 407, I gotta see what happened. I I threw the remote against the wall, I was fucking furious with my system and then I went I switched to cable to get off to TiVo.
I I see it says a live sport event. I hit that they go, you don’t, you’re not signed up for live sport events. I’m not signed up for everything. I get I get millions of dollars of bills a year in this fucking thing. So I go to pee. And I just I went on my phone and I go next game final score and it says on there.
